Happy New Year!
Yes, many people do marry on New Years Eve. I've worked on weddings that didn't start until twelve or one in the morning. Many couples who chose to marry late in the evening have their receptions before the ceremony. It works well for many but be aware of the challenges this choice may bring.
- Leave early, traffic on New Year Eve is heavy.
- You may lose some family members to sleep.
- If you forget anything not many services will wait beyond midnight for you to bring the rings, cd, grandpa or license.
- Most importantly, everyone drink responsibly and at the appropriate time to make the memories sublime.
