Aisle Runners

Aisle runners. If you have never heard of them, you may think of two people running down the aisle. But no, aisle runners are a part of the wedding decor. They are beautiful when filled with rose petals in varying colors, the vision of the bride walking down a flower filled pathway lends elegance to an already dreamy day. Aisle runners are usually reserved for the bridal procession and the flower petals are typically dropped by a flower girl just before the bride enters.

However, aisle runners do serve a practical purpose, they protect the typical bridal gown from being stained by any dirt on the aisle. Likewise, it protects the floor from being stained by flower petals. In a venue not normally set for weddings the aisle runner can serve as a design feature to show where the bridal procession will enter.

Typically it isn't a given that the wedding facility will provide a runner for you so ask and if needed they are widely available for purchase at party and wedding stores.  Likewise, the flower petals are usually purchased separately.  There are typically two options as far as the petals are concerned, fresh flower petals and silk flower petals. Whichever you prefer, I am sure it will still be fabulous.

Have a wonderfully Happy New Year!

Cheers,

Connie
