New Years, New Vows . . .

Wedding Accessories.

Happy New Year!
Yes, many people do marry on New Years Eve. I've worked on weddings that didn't start until twelve or one in the morning. Many couples who chose to marry late in the evening have their receptions before the ceremony.  It works well for many but be aware of the challenges this choice may bring.
  • Leave early, traffic on New Year Eve is heavy.
  • You may lose some family members to sleep.
  • If you forget anything not many services will wait beyond midnight for you to bring the rings, cd, grandpa or license.
  • Most importantly, everyone drink responsibly and at the appropriate time to make the memories sublime.
Cheers to 2018
May the new year be filled with fresh wonderful experiences which bring new or renewed joy to your life.

Culture, Beauty, Weddings

chabad.org

One of the best parts of being a wedding planner is experiencing the most beautiful elements of varying cultures. Couples marry quickly and often in Vegas, but many bring their cultural elements with them.  One traditional element I find to be very beautiful is the Ketubah (Marriage Contract) used by Jewish couples. Normally this is signed by a Rabbi rather than a regular officiant. The Ketubah reinforces the vows taken during the ceremony and it is also always a tremendous work of art.

When I worked in Vegas, couples always brought their Ketubahs from their town, so I don't officially have any recommendations as to where to purchase one. However, 1-800-Ketubah.com has  the most dramatically modern designs I have ever seen.

Thank you for reading and following all these years. If we allow ourselves, we can celebrate all that is nice among the differences between us.

Happy Holidays!

Sentimental Beauty

It - is - Fabulous to blog for you for just a few minutes. Our lives are so full of every imaginable opportunity these days, we have little time to enrich the special places in our hearts and create mind blowing events to share with those we love.

There are engagement parties, bridal showers, bachelor parties and the main events of the wedding process. Likewise, renewals which are a special kind of wonderful.  All require careful planning; however, to create any beautiful event or experience, we must fit the details together like the pieces of a puzzle.

If you are in the process of creating a wedding event and want your memories to last a lifetime, begin with sentiment. A note/text before the event, a special gift delivered to the dressing room, a song played with reason, a thank you read during the ceremony, a unity candle added, a kiss on the hand. The possibilities are endless if you are truly observant and in tuned with your beloved. Being mindful of the little enjoyable things today and bringing them back to light on occasion will take your love years into the future.

Cheers!
Constance

P.S. Be on the look out for a wedding book.  Details to follow soon.

Fun, fun, fun. . .

I certainly hope you've found someone fabulous with whom to pass the years. Couples married and due for a renewal continuously entertain one another. On this Easter I heard one of the best new Easter celebrations yet. The husband now in his 70s stayed up late painting and hiding eggs for his bride. When she awoke she found them all and proceeded to make a fried rice dish with them.

A Fabulous Wedding

The business of weddings is more than just a money making intity.  It's the making of a family. The joining of two souls. A sacrament full of beauty to behold. Because of this beauty I stumbled on trying to get a promotion exactly twenty years ago I found one of the most joyous and lasting duties of my life. The art of weddings 💒. Because of my knowledge base and enduring love of weddings, I plan to open myself up to planning weddings and renewals again very soon.

Be on the look out.

Cheers!

Valentine

Valentine's day is one of the busiest days of the year for the wedding planners of Las Vegas. Wedding parties should plan accordingly and be prepared to wait. Many bride's choose a red florals, bouquet, red bride maid dress, ties and cumberbuns. The color is perfect for the occasion; however, you may want to choose your favorite color. In any case, choose a color which will make your wedding as unique as is your love.

Valentine's is celebrated in many other places around the world.  This day of love may come once a year, but the sentiment can be expressed on date nights throughout the year.

It is my wish for you to experience the beauty of Valentine's day on a greater level with each passing year.
